How do they dress, walk, talk and appear (expression)?

How introspective are they? How much distraction exists in their life?

Have they a criminal history of any kind (for shoplifting, embezzlement or minor offences)?

What do they reveal about their parents and childhood? What was their relationship with their parents like? Which parent was preferred?

Do they appear to be truly fond of other human beings, or do they only make empty gestures of love and care?

Do they ever speak at length and in a warm admiring manner about anyone they know?

How good are they at putting themselves in the place of others?
.
Are they largely indifferent to the emotional needs of others? Can they be relied on in times of emergency?

How well do they assess emotion in others? Can they read body language?

Do they show respect for boundaries, for your private space and personal property? Are they intrusive?

Do they take personal responsibility for wrong-doing, for malignant acts of deceit, treachery, aggressiveness, neglect, etc?

How conscientious are they? Do they keep promises, fulfill obligations and go the extra distance for those in need, regardless of whether they are asked for help?

How much does the past matter to them?

If they have been married before, or in relationships, what are their comments about their past?

Do they appear to despise former partners? Are they fair in their accounts of the past?

Do they take part of the blame or do they insist that they alone have been victimized?

How long were their past relationships? When criticism arose, was the partner/friend dropped suddenly and without remorse.

Do they act with compassion and understanding?

When in different company, does their persona radically change, or are they consistent in most situations?

Are they possessive of their own property? Do they demand something in return for what they lend?

What is their relationship with inanimate possessions?
.
Do they possess items which have sentimental meaning for them? What do they consider precious?

To know this person and keep in with them, how much restructuring of your life becomes necessary?

If the conversation is not exclusively about them and their lives, do they become disinterested and bored, or are they genuinely interested in your experiences?

When recounting past successes, do they emphasize their prowess and relish conquests over others?

Do they display resentment against those who defeated them, or worked harder than them?
.
What is their motive for engaging in projects? Do they do so for its own sake, or because they seek to compete with and outdo others?

How much envy do they display when confronted with the success of another person?

Do they emphasize the sacrifices they have made?

Phobia is a defense mechanism against some deep-seated neurotic condition. What phobias or obsessions do they display? Do they have a pathological fear of death, aging, people, spaces, insects, animals, aloneness, nature, diseases, germs, being looked at, supernatural phenomena like ghosts, etc.

Do they put fun and recreation before work?

Do they have clear cut aspirations? Are they working toward some definite goal, or do they live spasmodically from day to day?

Do they learn from their mistakes, or continue making the same mistakes over and over?

If forced by circumstances to deviate from their normal routine, how do they respond?

Are they spontaneous? Do they conceive alternative plans easily?

Do they have impossibly high expectations of others?

Do they frequently make impossible or irrational demands?

Do they hector over minute imperfections?
.
Do they demand “unconditional love” and approval despite their questionable behavior?

If you ask questions about what would they change in their life if they had the chance, how do they reply?

When and if you bring up questions concerning self-development or spirituality, what response does the person offer forth? Are they even interested in such questions?

How much does your mood change in their presence?

Craving, suspicion, unease, acute restlessness, insomnia, nightmares, despair, futility, disembodied feeling, sexual insecurity, self-doubt and self-condemnation, overwrought imagination, compulsion to drink or take drugs, irritability, disinclination to wash, be on time, or eat well. Feeling overshadowed and deeply depressed. Intense sexual fantasies. Migraines. Sensitivity. Sweating. Bad odors. Involuntary movements. Skin irritation. Sudden breakouts and blemishes.
