In this episode Unslaved interviews legendary conspiracy author G. Edward Griffin who explains the origins of collectivism and breaks down its many dangers. He gives comparisons of what is happening today to numerous accounts of history. Ed explains that collectivism is the opposite of individualism (freedom) and how under collectivistic models the interests of the individual must be sacrificed for the greater good of the greater number. Collectivism holds that the individual has no rights, that his life and work belong to the group, and that the group may sacrifice him at its own whim to its own interests. The only way to implement a doctrine of that kind is by means of brute force and coercion by an all-powerful totalitarian state. He also discusses the origin of the UN and the 200 + year push for world government under this collectivistic model, and gives his suggestions as to how this conspiracy can be stopped in its tracks.
